These terms apply to journeys booked with High Wycombe Taxis Limited (company number 16848594, registered office 46 Highwood Avenue, High Wycombe, England, HP12 4LS). Please read them before you book.
Making a booking
- You can book by phone on 01494 702008, on WhatsApp, by email at info@highwycombetaxi.co.uk or through our online quote form.
- An online booking is a request. Your journey is booked once we have confirmed it with you.
- Please give us accurate pickup and drop-off addresses, times, passenger numbers, luggage and, for airport pickups, your flight number.
Fares
- We quote a fixed fare when you book. The fares shown on our website for airport and station transfers are our standard fixed prices for those journeys.
- If the journey changes on the day – extra stops, a different destination or a long wait – the fare may change. The driver or our office will tell you before any extra charge applies.
- We will confirm how you can pay when you book. Business customers can ask about corporate account travel with invoicing.
Female drivers
- If you ask for a female driver when you pre-book, we guarantee one for that journey. If we cannot, we will tell you at the time of booking.
- For same-day or immediate pickups we will try to send a female driver but cannot guarantee it.
- There is no extra charge for requesting a female driver.
Changes and cancellations
- If your plans change, please call us as early as possible so we can move or cancel your booking.
- Any charge for a late cancellation or a no-show will be explained when you book.
Children and passengers needing assistance
- Tell us when you book if you are travelling with children, so we can discuss seating, or if a passenger needs help getting in or out of the car.
- For school runs, we will agree pickup and drop-off arrangements with the parent or guardian making the booking.
Safety and conduct
- All our drivers hold a private hire licence and an enhanced DBS check, and our vehicles are licensed and insured for private hire.
- Seat belts must be worn. Drivers may refuse to carry passengers who are abusive, violent or put the driver or others at risk.
- Smoking and vaping are not allowed in our vehicles.
Lost property
If you leave something in one of our cars, call us on 01494 702008 and we will do our best to return it.
